In this program, we dig into any disordered patterns or habits that are keeping you stuck in your health journey. We figure out why these habits exist and how to overcome them in a way that does NOT involve another diet, meal-plan, cutting out food groups, or any other particular way of eating. Instead we look at rejecting the diet mentality, connecting back to your body, and making peace with food.

All the external information you have absorbed combined with the desire to lose weight has led to feeling disconnected from your body. We live in a highly weight-centric society leading to many health solutions revolving around weight and little else. I give you tools to help you cultivate body awareness along with nourishing self-care habits designed to increase your well-being.

Here’s what we’ll do together:

We’ll work together in my signature Food Freedom Program over a 3-month process!

Stage 1: Identify Pain Points & Build a Customized Plan

In order to help you on your healing journey, we will have a personalized one-hour consultation through a Zoom call. We will discuss your current pain points in your health journey, what you are looking for in a coach, and any goals you have for working together. After this session, I will put together a customized plan designed for your specific needs & goals and you will be sent a copy of the Intuitive Eating book & workbook.

Stage 2: Start Making Peace with Food & Your Body

This is the meat of working together where we will be starting the journey of making peace with your food & body. We will have bi-weekly 60-minute coaching calls over Zoom focusing on Intuitive Eating principles like; rejecting the diet mentality, cultivating body awareness, coping with your emotions, and creating sustainable self-care habits. Relevant handouts, assessments and activities/tasks in between sessions will be completed during the program to aid you in the healing process.

Stage 3: Achieve & Maintain Food Freedom

Near the end of the program we will evaluate your progress on solving pain points and hitting your goals. We will discuss how to maintain your new found food freedom, how to avoid diet culture triggers, and continue cultivating body awareness. You will leave the program with the tools to nourish yourself according to your body and not according to external information.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you help people with eating disorders?

I am not trained in eating disorder recovery, so if you have an eating disorder (or think you might have an eating disorder), this would not be the program for you. Please visit NEDA to find resources for eating disorder help.

How much time will this program take every week?

We meet bi-weekly for coaching calls for an hour each time. In between sessions you might work on some small actions towards healing your relationship with food & your body. Overall, this program will likely save you time because you will not be focusing on micromanaging your food & movement like you would if you were on a diet or meal-plan.

What if I am not ready to let go of my desire to lose weight?

Although I completely understand this desire, it’s going to be difficult to truly heal your relationship with food and your body if you hold on to the aspiration to lose weight. Attempting to lose weight is likely why you have developed disordered eating patterns and lost touch with your body’s signals. If you are truly not ready to let go, this program will not be a good fit for you at this time.

Hey! I’m Lauren Redwine. I have been able to heal my relationship with food & my body after being in the wellness industry for several years and I’m passionate about helping other health-conscious professionals do the same.

I know what it’s like to try so hard to be a model of health & wellness so you can set an example for your clients only to find yourself deep into disordered eating patterns. Maybe you have become obsessed with food, developed anxiety around certain foods, find yourself in a restrict-binge cycle, or you just don’t know what to eat anymore.

I went from constantly obsessing over what to eat, anxious over food choices on vacations or get-togethers, going through intense restrict-binge cycles, and obsessing over what my body looked like to eating according to my body’s needs and what is satisfying and not feeling guilty about it, accepting of my body the way it is, and ended the restrict-binge cycle for good.

Through my own personal healing journey and Intuitive Eating training, I discovered that when the desire to lose weight or manipulate your body size is released and body attunement is cultivated, true healing can begin. There’s no need to continue the battle of losing weight! You just need a plan and support from a trusted guide to help you reconnect back to your body & develop self-nourishing habits that work for you.

I have a Health Certification from the Institute for Integrative Nutrition, a Master’s degree in Psychology, and Intuitive Eating Pro Skills Training that informs the expertise that I’m able to offer to my clients to help them heal their relationship with food and their body.
